Cottage Descriptions & Rates
All of the cottages at The Matabanick are unique, with their own charm and character. They all include blankets, BBQ and propane, microwave, coffee-maker, fridge, stove, toaster, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, and a variety of Pampered Chef kitchen tools. Please bring your own lifejackets, bed sheets, pillow cases & tea towels, as our cottages do not include housekeeping services. Below is a description of each cottage including it’s individual character, and rate.
CHECK IN IS 2PM- CHECK OUT IS 10 AM. We welcome pets, however dogs MUST be on a leash, and please poop and scoop. Method of payment: We accept personal cheques, and cash only. We do not accept credit cards. We rent SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.

The Bunglow This is a 4 bedroom cottage. Two of the rooms have Queen-size beds, one has a double bed, and one has two single beds. This cottage has a private wrap around deck over-looking Boshkung lake. It is just steps from the water, and has a private campfire pit. This cottage has a warm welcoming atmosphere from the time you walk in the door. The living room is an open concept and extends into the kitchen. The Cliff-Hangar This 3 bedroom modern cottage is our newest addition to the property. It is also winterized. It is perched on a hill overlooking both the beach, and the lake. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed, one a double bed, and one bedroom boasts a pine muskoka-stlye bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom, and a single bed on top- perfect for children sharing a room. The bathroom is equiped with a bathtub as well as a shower. The open-concept kitchen-living room is stunning. George's Cottage This 3 bedroom cottage is centralized at the top of the hill with a large deck overlooking the property facing the water. It has two bedrooms both with queen-size beds, and one bedroom with a single bed. It has an open-concept living room attached to the kitchen, and one bathroom. Miller's Cottage This 2 bedroom cottage allows the sunlight in through it’s large sky lights. It’s beautiful large kitchen offers room for an avid cook. It has an open-concept kitchen-living room area for relaxing and cooking. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, washroom, as well as a walk out to the deck. The second room is a long large room and it has 1 double bed and 1 super-single brass bed. The Beach Cottage This 2 bedroom cottage is RIGHT on the beach. Literally 2 steps and you are on the sandy beach. It offers a 'screened-in' porch with dining factilities. There is a living room inside with an open-concept kitchen. The master bedroom has a double bed, and the second room has two single beds. This cottage is ideal for a family with young children. It is the only cottage in this area of the resort, nestled on the beach and away from the other cottages.
